Hope that's right! All Star game and World Series in the same year!

Even better - ASG combined with 4th consecutive WS. If you're gonna dream, dream BIG!

I think they are transferring Houston to the AL next year making everything even again. That's it for now, no new franchises. They are having enough trouble keeping the ones they currently have viable!

Next up is the A's impending move to San Jose from Oakland.

peric, I know about houston's move but don't really like interleague all season long. imagine taking the bat out of our pitchers' hands. come on, they are our best hitters right now.

OK, durin this All-Star break, some have written columns with topics like the "All Collapse Team," talking about the players who have been anything but all-stars. I was just reading one on how successful or unsuccessful particular one-year contracts have been, hoping to enjoy a glowing report on Edwin Jackson. I haven't gotten to that point yet, because after declaring David Ortiz's the most successful, Baseball Prospectus names Xavier Nady's as the least successful.

It is apparently obvious to everybody. Sorry, X, but you haven't really helped much. It's clear who should depart when Jayson Werth rerturns.

+1/2St.
