VIDEO: Harper reflects on first year

A year has now passed since Bryce Harper was called up to the majors and made his major league debut. Harper hasn't spent much time looking back as he is one of the best players in baseball through this season's first month. But with a full calendar year gone by, Harper and his teammates reflected on the year that was recently after playing the Reds.

The age 20 career HR list is incredible to see the names in front of Bryce Harper. They are all Hall Of Famers except Congliaro, ARod and Trout. Harper at 31 HRs tied with Ted Williams and Mett Ott at 61, Conigliaro at 56, ARoid at 41, Griffey and Frank Robby at 38, Mantle at 36, Trout at 35, and Kaline at 32.

What a list!

Harps is my bell weather when I'm watching a game. How he goes, generally so go the Nats.

When he struck out on that high pitch (breaking ball??) in yesterday's game against Grannny, I knew that we were in trouble.

Doc, he was responsible for that after trying to bunt on the second pitch (I hope davey talked to him about that). That was a bit unnecessary I thought.

'scuse me if this was already mentioned, but ESPN debuts an hour-long film on Harper ("Bryce Begins") at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday (hat tip Sports Bog).
