Beltway Baseball - 4/4/11

In the latest installment of "Beltway Baseball," CSNwashington.com producer Chase Hughes and I talk about Ian Desmond's struggles at the top of the lineup, Jayson Werth's hot start, the pressure on Adam LaRoche and Michael Morse to produce and the rotation's strong performance so far.

And in Part 2 below, we shift the discussion to the Nationals' bullpen and this week's upcoming road trip to Florida and New York...

Might consider adding Byron Kerr of MASN to your blog roll. His minor league and "insider" view into scouting and farm get better and better.

Better than FJB who now wants us to access links that require a subscription? Bad form FJB maybe FJB blog should be fired.

Always enjoy the videos -- they remind me of last year's Nats Insider Podcasts. Was it me, or was it getting bright then dark the whole second video? A little distracting. But overall -- great stuff!

Great commentary, Mark! But look straight into the camera while you're talking. Hold our "eye contact" more. That other guy knows you're there without you looking over at him all the time! :~)
