Zim leaves with tight hamstring

NEW YORK -- Ryan Zimmerman was taken out of today's game against the Mets in the sixth inning with tightness in his left hamstring.

The Nationals said the move was precautionary, and Zimmerman didn't appear to injure himself on any particular play leading up to his departure.

Willie Harris took over at third base for Zimmerman, who played in 154 of 162 games last season for Washington.

Updates to come...

Here's my updated Zimmerman story on CSNwashington.com.

Nyger looked lost today. Riggs needs to sit him down tomorrow against Santana.
