Through three starts at Class AA Harrisburg, Stephen Strasburg is 2-0 with an 0.73 ERA and a 17-to-3 strikeout-to-walk ratio. But Mike Rizzo isn't about to alter his predetermined plan for the right-hander's ascension through the Nats' farm system and up to the major leagues.

Wow, Marquis has elbow problems now.
With Marquis coming out, who comes up? Ray and Johnny suggest it will be Martin.
I went to yesterday game and he looked great. It rained a lot on the way up to Harrisburg but during the game their was only one inning that it had a steady rain. His fastball was around 97MPH most of the time and his curveball looked great too. His off-speed pitch (slider?) was hard to hit too. He gave up one hit in 5 innings pitch and struck out 6 (I think). I'm not sure why he didn't pitch the 6th inning, he looked strong and had not thrown to many pitches and his turn up in the lineup would have come up after the 6th, so they could have pitch hit for him there.
While good, it was not the most dominating minor league pitcher I've ever seen. Years ago, I was Paul Wilson pitch in AA at Trenton and his ball was "popping the glove" and was more intimating. He was not the same guy when he got to the Majors with the Mets, as he blew out his arm before he got up there.
I hope he makes one more start in Harrisburg, because it will likely be a weekend game.
