Spring training schedule out

The champagne hasn't even been cleaned out of the visitors' clubhouse at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington and already we're ready to talk about spring training.

The Nationals just released their 2011 Grapefruit League schedule. No real surprises; the slate features all the usual suspects. For the second straight year, the Nats are scheduled to play the Yankees both in Viera and in Tampa. Last year, the home game was rained out, so if this one is played it will represent the first appearance by the Pinstripers at Space Coast Stadium since 2000.

It wasn't on the invoice. Only 81 games.

I'm in. The third week in March usually works out best for me. But I always check the full GF leage schedule to what week optomizes the number of games I can see -- one Nats game a day and another game any day that I can. See you guys there. I'll be the guy in the Natsinsider.com shirt. LOL

And I'll be in the 4th row to the right of homeplate in my red NatsJack jersey with #63 on the back.

Harper, fyi from the MLB site (am mulling a trip myself):

Feb. 13, 2011
Voluntary Spring Training reporting date for pitchers, catchers and injured players

Feb. 18, 2011
Voluntary Spring Training reporting date for non-pitchers and catchers
March 1, 2011
Mandatory Spring Training reporting date for all players

@ natsfan1a

That schedule from MLB worked fie for 2010 season before MLB moved up the start of the exhibition season by 1 week to the last week of Fe/1st week of March, so my question is did the report dates for pitchers and catchers and position players also change by 1 week???
