The Rangers also will have their full lineup for the first time in this Fall Classic, with Vladimir Guerrero able to serve as DH with both Nelson Cruz and Jeff Francoeur in the outfield. Bruce Bochy is going with Pablo Sandoval as his DH for this game.
This being the first World Series game ever played in Arlington, the Rangers are pulling out all the stops. Team president and Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch (hopefully they'll have a radar gun reading of him this time). Catching the Ryan Express will be his old batterymate: The Nationals' own Ivan Rodriguez. Should make for a cool moment.
I'll be watching the game, but I'm not at home at the moment, so I probably won't be sharing thoughts at least during the early innings. Please don't let that stop you from commenting yourself...

GIANTS9:55 p.m. -- Looks like we've got a series after all. Nice performance from the Rangers tonight in a 4-2 victory. Colby Lewis was solid for 7 2/3 innings. Mitch Moreland turned in a huge, three-run homer off Jonathan Sanchez in the second inning. And Neftali Feliz finally got into a game and finally got his first save of the postseason (though arguably still one inning too late). Texas really needed a game like this after two disheartening losses to open the series. Now Ron Washington's bunch has a chance to even the series tomorrow night in Game 4, though the pitching matchup (Madison Bumgarner vs. Tommy Hunter) clearly favors San Francisco.

Mitch Morley three run dinger. Rangers up three bottom of sceond
If I were Bochy, I would start Lincecum tomorrow night against Tommy Hunter to give the Giants a better chance of winning than Bumgarner would. I might be underestimating Madison but ace is an ace. Why I think Lincecum? Because tomorrow is a must win game since game 5 pretty much goes to Lee and Rangers. What are the chances Cliff would mess up again, in the same series? I think pretty low. Have Bumgarner pitch game 5 so Cain can come in at full rest and finish off the series in SF.
It's really, really hard to root for the Rangers with Doofus looking on in his front row seat.
I don't know if you guys noticed the difference but Rangers have a lot more older people rooting for them than the Giants. SF fans are more young people I think. Could it be the location of the stadium?
I agree, BQ. That Arlington park is in the middle of a white-bread suburb while China Basin is walkable to downtown SF, or paddle-able as well. Great location. It's what Nats Park could have been if MLB would have allowed a park to "face" west, which of course you can't have because of the setting sun.
Ok ok.....Rangers win......but here's the real news everyone wants to know.....How Harper do last night in Arizona. Someone needs to get a HARPER WATCH going. NatsJack.....you in Arizona?
Nope... Still in Florida,,,and I may have to split myself and become MetsJack in Florida as fellow Falls Church High alum is now GM of the Mets... of course that will only happen if cash and some sort of part time employment is involved.
Just kidding... It would be impossible to root for the Mets..
As for Bryce, I was giving everyone at my favorite watering hole updates on his at bats in Arizona while we watched the Gators squeak by the Bulldogs. 3 for 5 with his first homerun and raised his BA to .357.
