Game postponed, doubleheader tomorrow

Today's game has been postponed due to rain. The Nationals and Brewers will play a true doubleheader tomorrow, beginning at 1:35 p.m.

Fans holding tickets to tomorrow's game will be admitted to both games of the doubleheader. Fans holding tickets to today's postponed game can exchange them for seats of equal value at either tomorrow's game or any future game this season.

Jason Marquis, who was scheduled to start today's game for the Nationals, will pitch the opener. Livan Hernandez will pitch the finale, which is due to begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

  1. Excellent! Day/Night doubleheaders always make for a fun day. Plus, it removes an excuse I had for not doing work tonight. Double bonus!

  2. Can someone answer this: are tickets for today's game only honored for tomorrow's doubleheader or can they be exchanged for another game this season? Thanks!

  3. And what if two people have tickets for the same seats, can we get an automatic upgrade to the President's Club empties?

  6. @Stranded in Philly - a Day/Night doubleheader is when they clear the park after the first game and charge you again to come back in for the second. This is a REAL (old-school) doubleheader - two games for the price of one!

  8. The game may be postponed, but there's still a Nats Talk show airing on MASN until 12:30 (at least, that's when it's supposed to end).

  9. I guess I'll have to bring lots of money for treats for tomorrow's twin-bill.

  11. I once went to a P-Nats true double-header. It was fun (well, my behind might not agree with that assessment, but the Nats Park seats are more comfy).

Another TV PSA: TWIB is on Fox right now.

  12. It says that Sunday tickets are good for both games, but what about Saturday tickets? What about the $1 kids tickets?

  13. From Mark's post above (and today is Saturday):

Fans holding tickets to today's postponed game can exchange them for seats of equal value at either tomorrow's game or any future game this season.

  16. Probably don't have to remind too many people on here, but Nats Park does allow you to bring food in, provided it's in a single-serving, soft casing (no tupperware). Perfect for those not too interested in the fare at the ballpark but who may want to eat in the 7 hour period we're going to be there.
