Or would you say that they should pitch all five starters in the playoffs even though with off days, you can often get away with using just three? But the playoffs are a long way off. Right now, if you tinker with the rotation to maximize your chances of winning today or tomorrow, you could easily be jeopardizing your chances of winning later in the season. Remember, all wins count the same. History has shown that starting pitchers perform best when kept on a regular schedule. If you skip Wang now just because you have the opportunity, you may end up finding that you can't count on him later in the season when you need him just as much or more than you do now. That's also a big part of why beer prices are so high - to discourage overconsumption. Establishments outside the stadium would not have the same restrictions, which is why there needs to be a solid non-driving option available. Metro, with its early weeknight closing and sparse service on weekends (even though it theoretically is open late) is not enough. Although the way this will probably end up playing out is with Metro being forced (against its will, of course) to improve its service once there is more nightlife around the Navy Yard - and that will be good for all fans, not just those who hang around after the games. The Real Feel Wood.
