Gammons says Scott Boras negotiated that condition into the righty's deal with the Nationals last summer. However, Nationals farm director Doug Harris told MASN.com's Ben Goessling that a 100 inning cap for Strasburg "doesn't hold water" (Twitter link). Harris says 150-160 innings would be reasonable for Strasburg (Twitter link).Wallyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01557557989122256161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3442809928829881676.post-22976395040892978752010-04-12T08:59:39.944-04:002010-04-12T08:59:39.944-04:00That was 100 innings at the major league level. That was 100 innings at the major league level.Diznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3442809928829881676.post-56707808356005591942010-04-12T08:31:57.610-04:002010-04-12T08:31:57.610-04:00"Wally said...

Livo is a first-half success, perhaps because nobody knows what to do with him so early. They are expecting pitchers to have the advantage on power early on, and are not at all ready for guile.

I was going to argure about April 6, 2008, but then I remembered that they played the opening game on March 31 that year, didn't they?
